How to Build an Urban Survival Community - Interactive

By James Madison

They want us fighting amongst each other, but instead we are going to hang together and prevail.  You can decide now whether you are going to be a survivor or a victim.

Call it a fun hobby with possible big benefits down the road, and it is on the minds of more people than you think.

The fact is, anyone who thinks he can predict the future is a fool. Anything can happen. If you have to explain "why" to a person, write them off and move down the line.

The most fundamental premise of building an urban survivor community is connecting with like-minded people, and not wasting your time on the rest. The next is communications, because when the power is out, you can't recharge your cellphone, and the towers will be down anyway. That's why anyone who is a member of yours will need to get one or more of these, or something like them, handcrank chargeable walkie talkies:

The specified range for this pair is 3 miles city, 10 miles line-of-sight.  Any experts in two-way radios and communications please jump in.

Now you are ready to hunker in place, share food and supplies, help defend each other, and in general stay alive.

How do you set up a defensive perimeter, to keep the mobs out of your area like the Koreans did during the Rodney King riots? I favor the "curtain of steel" concept. See an armed mob marching in your direction, use a bullhorn to tell them what street they cannot cross. From strategically selected firing positions on the four points of the compass, you can fire warning shots and hopefully they will go looking for easier prey.

Remember, law enforcement has broken down at such a time. There's no calling 911. There may not even be phones.

Sound out people you meet. You'll be surprised. Individual responsibilities are to build personal/family food and water stores and be armed. You can start a meetup.com group and discuss more particulars, who has the crates of toothpaste, who has the toilet paper, who has the most defensible building in a crunch. There could be a time for everyone to pull back to that position and sleep on floors and spare rooms.

Your most powerful weapon is the bond of trust and cooperation that you have made by even talking about this stuff long beforehand. Print a business card with a code name, a radio frequency, and intervals during the day when they are to tune in to this frequency. When all the fools and frat boys are shaking and crying for their mommas, you'll be checking in with each other and taking care of business.

Carry those business cards. When you meet someone and find out they understand and are thinking about it, and you like them and get a good feeling, give them the card and welcome them into the community.

How would you build your urban survival community? How do you cook? Are there grains which can soak long enough that they don't need cooking? How do you make a basic stove for cooking or heating, with charcoal briquets, out of a coffee can? What is a complete personal/family emergency stores inventory? What are your favorite emergency items (cool handcrank flashlights?) Military guys advice welcome on weapons and tactics.

Let a thousand intertwined, overlapping urban survival communities bloom across America, completely under the radar. Let's become a collapse-proof society. We're all going to be okay.

Veterans Hold the Key to 9/11 Truth-Justice

A sample from a high-traffic, middle-of-the-road political forum board, where the hearts and minds are to be won for the 9/11 Truth-Justice movement:

Originally Posted by Bushmaster LMAO! You can "knowlege" from now until the end of time, but the official story will always remain the same. Lol get it? And 100 years from now the history books will reflect that.

Official Story: 12 (years) Truth Movement: 0
In other words, even the disinformation artists (we have all run across them) concede that the rational debate over 9/11 truth has been won, by the Truth Movement, but the people are impotent in the face of enormous evil, and no action will ever be taken. Gloating that the cold-blooded murder of 3,000 Americans will never be avenged, even if what the Truth Movement says is true.

But is this true? Does diabolical evil always triumph over good?

Many regimes have held a far tighter iron grip on their country, and have fallen to rock bottom. During his 40 years in power, if you said Mubarak committed false flags to manipulate the Egyptian people, they would drag you away and pull out your fingernails. Fortunately, America has not yet come to this pass. In America, the problem is not so much people not having their freedoms, as much as people not using them, although this is gradually changing. Extraordinary rendition for American citizens, upheld by Obama, would put Americans outside the protection of all law, up to and including the threat of being murdered with impunity.

However, one man, a former Director of Studies at US Army War College, sees a road map to prosecution. Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former Marine, says that one constituency has the requisite lobbying power to force action. It is the veterans of the United States Armed Forces.

Sabrosky says the call will not come from the national command of the national veterans organizations, but from the local chapters. The local chapters are more independent and less involved in Washington politics than the national leaderships. Moreover, the call will be broadcast not by the national news organizations, but by their local affiliates, which similarly have different agendas than their national office.

Sabrosky says it is in the power of the local veterans to shake up the logjam which prevents 9/11 Truth from becoming into 9/11 Justice, and to change the political landscape forever. It is inevitably politically unpopular for a congressman to turn a deaf ear to veterans who have served their country, and fought in its wars.  The plethora of preferences for veterans in jobs and education in the US Code is evidence of this.

But what to call for, exactly?

Calling for a true investigation has its merits, but can elicit its own feeling of hopelessness. What is to guarantee that a new commission will not be as compromised as the old one? Who will chose what members sit on it? There is a feeling among some 9/11 truth advocates that the public is all “commissioned out.”

But tell the Awake that you are working for a prosecution, and that might get ten minutes of his or her time. Don't tell me you're going to start another commission. We know what happens with those. Those &^%$ belong in jail, period.

Fortunately (but unfortunately for some,) there is a trail of evidence which leads to one participant, to an open-and-shut case. No great crime can succeed without destruction of the evidence, and on 9/11, this task fell to former Mayor of New York Rudy Giuliani.

Contracts for the shipping of the steel to China to be melted were signed, all under the authority of the Mayor of New York, and they are pieces of paper in black and white.

Rudy was a bag man, a low level henchman. But that is where you always start when bringing down a cabal, and that is all we are talking about. Rudy can easily be threatened with 10 years of jail time for felony destruction of evidence in a capital crime. Rudy could chose to do his time quietly, or say who gave him the order to do this, in return for easy time or a grant of immunity. Any prosecutor who has one constituent who was harmed by the crime of 9/11 can bring the case, under the “effects” doctrine of the law.

Best of all, one need not be a 9/11 Truther to find merit in the case. At the very least, this was the unprecedented collapse of three steel-framed high-rises, due to fires, never seen before or since. If only for the lost chance to learn how to make buildings safer, the destruction of 99.5% of the steel evidence was a crime.

Merely bringing the case has multiple benefits. If one falls on the side of 9/11 Truth-Justice, it serves as a warning to future bag men that there will be a price to pay, therefore making the planning of false flag attacks more difficult. That makes us safer. No one wants to be the one to go to jail. If one is merely interested in making the job safer for our brave firefighters, it would serve warning that such forensic evidence is not to be destroyed.

If Rudy decides not to do his time nicely, all bets are off. All senior ranking members of the Bush administration, including Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Dov Zakheim, and Douglas Feith, would need to be immediately ordered not to leave the country. For the time being.

It's a win-win, and then win some more. Veterans should want to get to the bottom of the event which provided the impetus for two wars - wars that killed so many of their brothers.

A Call for Justice: The FBI May as Well Have Killed Those People in Boston

By James Madison

I am shaking mad. Boston is my town. And with what we know now, we can say the FBI might as well have killed and maimed all those people in Boston themselves. Consider what we know.

- The FBI interviewed Tamlerlan Tsarnaev, the older brother, in early 2011, after Russian intelligence initiated contact to warn us that he "had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country’s region to join unspecified underground groups."

- After that interview, Russian intelligence warned the FBI a number of times more to keep an eye on this guy, and that he was a bad actor.

- One of those warnings came as late as sometime after October 2011, according to senators on the Senate Intelligence Committee briefed last Tuesday by Deputy FBI Director Sean M. Joyce and officials from the National Counter-terrorism Center and the Department of Homeland Security.

- In 2012, just as predicted by the Russians, Tamerlan travels to Chechnya for six months.

- US Representative Mike McCaul, Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, expresses astonishment that when Tamerlan returns, "one of the first things he does is put up a website throwing out all this jihadist rhetoric," yet the FBI still does not put a "flag" on him or keep him under surveillance in any way. This is despite the vast new array of tools granted to law enforcement since 9/11 for the purpose of making the surveillance of terrorist suspects easier, and the vast NSA data mining and storage facilities which civil libertarians fear can be used against law-abiding American citizens. Tamerlan is not an American citizen, which means he is not entitled to even the minimal privacy protections guaranteed by the Fourth Amendment.

- The FBI and other federal agencies have dishonestly portrayed its interactions with Russian intelligence as "requests for information" from the Russians in which no incriminating information was found. This is damage control.  The Russians weren't asking us. They were telling us.

- The FBI initially denied contacting Tamerlan, which means we can't believe anything it says outside of proceedings under oath.  If they lied about that, they could be lying about anything.

At what point does official negligence become complicity? It will require more investigation and questioning of officials to determine who signed off on what, and why. For now, the facts have been confirmed by intelligence briefings received by the Senate Intelligence Committee, by members of the key House committees, and by the FBI's own statement at its own website saying that Tamerlan:

"was a follower of radical Islam and a strong believer, and that he had changed drastically since 2010 as he prepared to leave the United States for travel to the country’s region to join unspecified underground groups."

In addition the New York Times has now reported that the Russian intelligence service reached out not only to the FBI but to the CIA as well.

Representative McCaul expresses dismay that a trip to Chechnya did not set off screaming sirens inside the alphabet soup of agencies charged with "protecting us," and now seen at any protest of any size which consists of Americans exercising First Amendment rights. McCaul said: "The American people need to understand that the Chechen rebels are some of the fiercest jihadist warriors out there...they have also made an alliance with Al Qaeda."

McCaul noted that Chechen jihadists are active in Iraq, and are clearly "in the fight."

So far, the skilled bureaucratic infighters and spin artists at the FBI have deployed the usual gambits citing "miscommunication" between agencies, even blaming the misspelling of names on watch lists.  Numerous alerts from the no-nonsense Russian intelligence service did not result in the FBI knowing where non-citizen Tamerlan was, and what he was doing, every minute of the day.  But the government has been caught actively spying on activists who criticize drone strikes in Afghanistan and organize protests for Bradley Manning.

But known terrorists who kill and maim people?

One US counter-terrorism official recently said, "If we thoroughly investigated every one of these terrorism tips we get, we'd never get anything done."  This is a slap in the face of the American people as we lay bleeding in the streets.

Too many brave police officers did their jobs fearlessly, no, in spite of fear, with no excuses until their man was off the streets. With no excuses, they faced gunfire and closed in on their man. One officer is dead in the line of duty, and another gravely wounded. We must hold the FBI and the federal government to the same standard. The sacrifices of these officers demands no less.

US Representative Mike Mccaul (R-TX) on CNN

If Israel Attacks It Will Ask U.S. for No-Fly Zones, Will Conyers Impeach Obama Like He Threatened Bush?

Israel would be pretty stupid to attack Iran.  Not only would they have to knock out all the suspected nuclear research facilities in order to achieve their primary goal, they'll have to knock out the entire Iranian Air Force too.  Having learned the lessons of the Gulf Wars, Iran is not being stupid like Saddam and lining up all their planes in a few places in nice, neat rows.  Its air bases are scattered across the desert.  Its pilots are committed and willing to die.

There is no scenario in which Israel can be victorious without pulling in the United States.  The problem, from Israel's standpoint, is one of geography.  Much of its population is concentrated not only in a small area, but in a single city, Tel Aviv.  Israel needs to be right hundreds of times.  Iran only needs to be right a few.  Israel does not have the warplanes to both attack nuclear installations and stop the Iranian Air Force at once.  A squadron of F-14s, now considered second hand in the US but are still devastating state of the art fighters, could level half of Tel Aviv in one mission.

To attack Iran would be really, really dumb.

Iran has tested 2,000 lb. laser guided smart bombs.  Whether you have a nuke or not, your opponent is vulnerable when it's population is all within just 8,000 square miles, about the size of Massachusetts.  It's not as if Iran will lay back and allow themselves to be attacked then say, okay, just let us know when you're done.  Iran also says it has long-range missile systems bought from from former Soviet Croatia.

Which is why Israel will ask the United States to impose no-fly zones.  That will mean aerial combat with Iranian jets over Iraq.  Once we do that, we are officially in the war ourselves.  International law declares that every country has a right to defend itself from immediate attack.  To interfere with that right, when one side has clearly initiated hostilities, is to lose neutrality.

Congressman and Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee John Conyers drew a line in the sand for George Bush: an attack on Iran would mean impeachment.  Bush sorely wanted to attack Iran but was held in check, by a number of factors including possibly Conyers' threat.  Will Conyers be pressed to answer if he will do the same for Obama?

The House Judiciary Committee is where impeachment begins, once members have passed a resolution from the floor.

Aside from the question of bloody right and wrong, another American military commitment, which by definition are open-ended, will at last break the back of the once-great nation.  China is already successfully maneuvering to become the next world reserve currency. With real inflation, that is, food and necessaries like rent, already at 20%, we are on the early stages of a hyperinflation since there is no growth to soak it up.

And hardest for most Americans to wrap their minds around, the elites don't care.  Americans still think they are in the same boat and will do what is necessary to keep the boat we are all in from sinking.  CNN Money reports that the sales of private luxury bunkers in 2011 was up 1,000%.  Money and assets are going offshore, and have been for some time.  The end of American is planned, unless we atop the trigger from being pulled, an Israeli attack on Iran, which will inevitably lead to US involvement, which can only be stopped by a firm, unequivocal promise of impeachment.

Our Republic is Doomed Unless We Unseat Half of Congress

it's real simple.  We all know what's going on.  We all know what is inevitable: the relentless drive to an overtly lawless, we-don't-care-what-you-think, not even trying to hide it anymore corrupt authoritarian fascist state.  If the vote on NDAA didn't tell you anything, nothing will.  Despite concerted outcry from even Rotary Club-level Main Street, the politicians passed an illegal law, shrugged, got into their private elevators which lead to underground garages and went home.

It is not time to stage armed revolution until all peaceful means have been exhausted.  We cannot honestly look ourselves in the mirror and say we tried, really tried, to wrest the body "closest to the people" back to the people.  The Founders reasoned that re-election every two years was ample reason to be responsive to popular sentiment.  And it is.  But this big lever only works if someone reaches up and grabs it.

Going into Spring, in this year of the Rand Paul filibuster, of a blooming of pro-Constitution activity in the state houses seeking to officially nullify what is already null and void - any law which flies in the face of the Constitution - it is high time to clearly state what must be done to regain our republic.

The math of governing is simple: it starts with a majority block of votes in the lower house.  These lead to leadership positions which can stall or move votes, rules changes, and other procedural power which marks a governing coalition.  But with primaries only a year away, how many of the congressmen who voted "yes" on NDAA are being challenged?  It would be our own fault and eternal damnation if it were not every one of them.

Let this thread kick off the plans.  Announce your candidacy here and hold your first money bomb.  Float names for us to contact and implore to run.

We have to start now.  They have the money but we have the numbers, and time to organize.  Link your local NDAA nullification chapter to active candidacies.  These are skeleton organizations, often bipartisan, across freedom loving states that are already in place.

If Rand wins in 2016 he will need a majority to govern.  The greatest thing his filibuster accomplished is to show that the love of liberty has not died in the hearts of Americans, no matter how much we moan that it has.  People who don't do politic were tuning in.  Over a million Tweets were reported.  Something was happening.    Make them start defending their votes immediately.  Never let them rest.  Never let them catch their breath.  We must unseat fully one half of Congress in 2016.

NDAA Traitors (we can prosecute them later...)

Congress Now it's Your Turn: Impeach Obama Over Extrajudicial Assassination

One brave US senator has surprised even his detractors and drawn his line in the sand: the assassination of US citizens without charge or trial by the President of the United States. Sen. Rand Paul has said he will talk until he can talk no more. Other senators have already followed, and now eyes turn, naturally, to the House of Representatives.

For if the power that Sen. Paul seeks to deny the Obama administration, the power to assassinate American citizens, is worth a filibuster, then it surely merits Obama's impeachment for even claiming this power. No president, not Richard Nixon, not George W. Bush, ever showed the contempt for the rights of Americans that Obama shows now. And there were efforts to impeach them both.

In the summer of 2008, the House Judiciary Committee under Chairman John Conyers held hearings entitled "The Limits of Executive Authority." The hearings dealt with the damage George W. Bush had done to American rights under the Constitution, with deceptions leading up to the invasion of Iraq, and a host of other Executive Branch abuses. The hearings boasted a stellar witness list, including four US congressmen, two former US congressmen, and numerous constitutional scholars. The clear thrust of the testimony was that Bush should be impeached.

The House of Representatives cannot sit by as if an historic stand against a long slide into tyranny is not taking place. Ever since 9/11, one by one, our freedoms and rights have been disappearing. Obama has betrayed his oath to protect and defend the Constitution and has threatened to murder American citizens even in their own homes and in their own country, a credible threat since the assassination of Anwar al-Awlaki and his son.

The al-Awlakis were killed outside the US, a fact which complicates the case for murder under the Authorization for the Use of Military Force.  But within the borders of the US, there is no gray area.  Americans have established and ancient rights.

To those who say this power is safe in the hands of the Executive Branch, remember Troy Davis. If this much can go wrong in a trial with the full right to confront your accusers, imagine the possible abuses and errors when all decisions are secret, impenetrable, and utterly final once a judgement is made. Rand Paul said as he started his filibuster:

""No American should be killed by a drone on American soil without first being charged with a crime, without first being found guilty of a crime by a court.  How can you kill someone without going to a judge, or a jury?"

Please poll your congressman on whether he will support the impeachment of Barack Obama. Report result here and when there are enough responses I will compile a table to be reported out to the American people so we can start working on the "noes" and "maybes."

POLL THE MEMBERS

Question for your congressman: Will you support the impeachment of Obama for claiming the systematic power to assassinate US citizens with trial or jury, in violation of their right to a jury trial under the Sixth Amendment of the US Constitution?

Choices:
